Sonate No. 1, Opus 27, No. 1 by Eugène Ysaÿe. This is the first movement of 4 movements that make up the whole Sonate. It has the tempo marking Lento asssai with a metronome marking of 54 (bpm/beats per minute) per eighth note. It was copyrighted in 1924 and the edition was dedicated to the Hungarian violinist, Joseph Szigeti.
