Bunny is known in the performance world as a violinist and conductor. She is also a respected and experienced teacher of music students of all ages and temperaments. She supports peoples’ individuality and need to express themselves in a manner that is true to their unique, beautiful human identities. Prior to 2022, Bunny was known as Harris.

FOUNDER AND MUSIC DIRECTOR NON-CONFORMISTS ORCHESTRA

In 2023, Mx Bunny founded an orchestra where transgender and non-binary professional orchestral musicians could express their artistry and be safe performing as their authentic selves… concerts where musicians could dress in the gender that they identified as. No one had ever created an orchestra of transgender musicians before. Based at the PRYDE, LGBTQ Affirming Senior Housing.

Director Orchestral Program at Foxborough Regional Charter School; MA — 2013-2016

  • Designed ensemble program, recruitment program, teaching program for all levels of instruction; grades 4-12. 
  • Created & instructed group lesson ‘boot camp’ to introduce beginners to all instruments (orchestral & band).
  • Interviewed & recruited private instrumental teachers and oversaw private instruction program. Conducted all levels of orchestras (String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra & Concert Band).
  • Taught miscellaneous courses including small jazz & pop ensembles, composition. 
  • Taught Kindergarten General Music (2016) and taught 6thgrade General Music (2015). 
  • Created & administrated school's instrument rental program; Purchased instruments, administrated maintenance & payment administration & record-keeping.
